A unique opportunity to deliver impact at scale. As Head of Projects – Operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in joining up people, processes and systems across Hft, helping translate organisational ambition into structured, sustainable delivery.

You’ll bring structure, pace and alignment to transformation activity – coordinating programmes and workstreams, simplifying workflows, and building the frameworks that support operational excellence.

Your Role Will Include

  • Leading key transformation and improvement projects within the COO portfolio.

  • Building and maintaining structured delivery plans, monitoring risks and dependencies.

  • Coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and project governance forums.

  • Creating reports, dashboards and communications to track progress and impact.

  • Embedding continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams.

Who You Are

  • An experienced project or programme professional with exposure to social care, public service, or mission-driven organisations.

  • Highly organised, structured and collaborative, with strong analytical capability.

  • Skilled at influencing and coordinating across teams without direct line authority.

  • Passionate about supporting improvement that delivers real outcomes for people.

Key Details & How to Apply

  • Contract: 12-month fixed-term (interim)

  • Location: Home-based, with occasional national travel (approx. twice per month)

  • Salary: £60,000

  • Interviews: Two-stage process (may include a short task or presentation)
